Conan le Cimmérien - La Maison aux trois bandits
(Rogues in the House)
Now available!

Some city-state somewhere between Zamora and Corinthia. In prison, Conan, whom the reputation of a mercenary precedes, is approached by Murilo, an influential aristocrat who wishes to hire the services of the Cimmerian to get rid of his political opponent: the red priest Nabonidus. Managing to escape, Conan then infiltrates the trapped home of his target. But there, he discovers that, behind the power struggle between Nabonidus and Murilo, it may be someone else who is pulling the strings ...

In this new album, Patrice Louinet and Paolo Martinello describe a thief and murderer Conan, bound by fate to two bandits of a very different species. A less epic tale than the warlike adventures of the Cimmerian, offering a closed door in an urban setting which gives us a dark - but no less interesting - vision of the character.

Robert E. Howard's Conan is brought to life UNCENSORED!
Discover the true Conan, unrestrained, violent, and sexual. Read the story as he intended!

The only survivor of a ferocious battle, Conan sits in the midst of a bloodstained snow field. When the fight is over, the Cimmerian suddenly finds himself overcome with deep weariness and disgust. Until the moment he meets a redheaded woman of supernatural beauty, bonding like the glow of the sun on the snow. Moved by a burning desire, Conan decides to follow her but finds himself caught in a trap, attacked by two titans. In his ardor, he was not suspicious... he did not imagine for a second that his bride was none other than Ymir's own daughter: the frost-giant!

A mythical tale both in both form and substance, The Frost-Giant's Daughter is masterfully adapted by Robin Recht, who manages to capture the essence of this whirlwind tale of violent desire...a true love trap in which the force of will of the Cimmerian is put to the test.

As bonus, also includes Robert E. Howard prose story from Weird Tales!

Robert E. Howard: A Closer Look
By Charles Hoffman and Marc Cerasini
Now available!
In 1987, Charles Hoffman and Marc A. Cerasini published a volume on Robert E. Howard for the acclaimed Starmont Reader’s Guides series. Even then, the book was a pioneering study of Howard’s life and work. In the decades that have followed, a great deal of additional research has been done on the life and times of the inventor of Conan, and the authors have now prepared a radically expanded and updated version of their monograph, taking account of these new discoveries.
The book is structured along the lines of the superheroes that Howard created as a means of expressing his admiration for the values of barbarian and pioneer life: Bran Mak Morn, the Pictish chieftain who battles the Romans in Britain; Solomon Kane, the 17th-century Puritan who spans the globe in quest of adventure and the righting of wrongs; King Kull of Valusia, a valiant warrior at the dawn of history; and, of course, Conan of Cimmeria, who embodied Howard’s thirst for untrammeled freedom and the virtues of combat.
Hoffman and Cerasini also study Howard’s tales of pure horror, including “Pigeons from Hell,” his other fantasy tales, his poetry, and other elements of his work. All in all, Robert E. Howard: A Closer Look is an invaluable guide to the life and literary output of this powerfully original writer whose work has inspired imitations, film and comic book adaptations, and devoted readers around the world.
