A tempting city with morbid secrets.
Lost in the infinity of a sandy desert, Conan advances accompanied by Natala, a slave with a wild beauty. The water and food reserves are now exhausted and under this blazing sun, that only means one thing: death. While the last forces of Natala gradually abandon her, Conan sees in the distance, to the south, a city that looks like a mirage. This is Xuthal. At this moment, it symbolizes life and salvation in the eyes of the two lovers, but on entering its inner courtyard, the emptiness and silence that reign there portend the worst. On the ground, only the body of a man lies, cold and abandoned. Without knowing it, Conan and Natala have just engulfed themselves in the mouth of a wolf with an unnameable form: Thog, god of the mysterious and imposing fortress.
Christophe Bec and Stevan Subic give life to a captivating, morbid story full of erotic overtones. A work with multiple levels of readings that fascinates with its graphic beauty and its refined verb.
