Howard Days 2021 Announcement

The Robert E. Howard Foundation made the following announcement:

We would like to acknowledge those of you who have inquired about Howard Days in Cross Plains 2021.

Originally scheduled for June 11-12, the Robert E. Howard Foundation, Project Pride of Cross Plains and the City of Cross Plains are currently monitoring the Covid-19 health crisis in regards to the timeliness of Howard Days.

Therefore, we are delaying the announcement of the exact date of Howard Days 2021. We expect to make a decision by the end of March.

One possible alternative is that if the June date proves not to be viable we would delay Howard Days until later in the summer or early fall. But we need the time between now and the end of March to make that decision.

To that end, we hope that Roy Thomas will still be available as Guest of Honor. More information on that when it becomes available.

While we most certainly hope this health crisis will be lessened by June, we must be concerned with the health of the residents of Cross Plains as well as the health of all the Howard Days attendees, who literally come from all over the world.

We appreciate your understanding at this time and hope to get back with you, possibly before the end of March. Thank you.

Robert E. Howard Days
