Howard and his friends, colleagues, and fellow-writers. Derie’s perspicacity and keenness of analysis are apparent on every page of his work. His thorough familiarity, not only with Robert E. Luc Brunschwig and Étienne Le Roux take up the challenge of adapting one of Conan's darkest news, in which the Cimmerian probably makes the biggest fall in his history: from glorious king, he becomes a pathetic prisoner. A black story, panting, full of diplomatic issues and tensions, where the myth becomes human again.
